  • Your free mock includes your score, section scores and a marked answer sheet. A plan unlocks its full review, with correct answers, explanations and listening scripts, plus 3 new timed mocks every month.
  • A timed mock is used when you start a new paper, at any level. Coming back to a paper you left open doesn’t use another; sitting a finished paper again does. Monthly gets 3 from each billing date, Lifetime 3 on the 1st of every month (UTC). The free mock is once for free per account and doesn’t renew.
  • AI marking: a free account gets one essay mark and one HSKK speaking score a day, renewed at midnight UTC. Monthly and Lifetime mark every essay and score every spoken answer, at every level, with no daily limit. Reading the questions and model answers is free for everyone.
  • Protect your exam fee. An HSK registration costs $65–75 a sitting. For $59.99 once, Lifetime tells you where you stand before exam day, at this level and every level after.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about HSKWin

Is my exam HSK 2.0 or HSK 3.0?

Levels 7–9 already run on 3.0. For levels 1–6, CTI published the new syllabus in November 2025 with a July 2026 implementation date, but has not announced a switch date for the regular sittings — so most 1–6 exams in 2026 are still 2.0. Check your registration record, and see our status page for what is confirmed.

When will HSK 1–6 switch to HSK 3.0?

CTI published the 3.0 syllabus for levels 1–6 in November 2025 with a July 2026 implementation date, but has not announced which sitting is the first to use it. Until it does, treat a 1–6 exam booked in 2026 as 2.0 unless your registration record says otherwise.

Do you offer free HSK practice tests?

Yes. The level test is free and needs no account, every HSK practice test here can be previewed free, and every account gets one full timed mock free, with its score. The question-by-question review, and more timed mocks, come with a plan.

Preview the papers

Do I need an account to try a mock test?

Not to preview one. Every paper on the site shows up to three questions from each section, with the answer key, the explanation and the line of 原文 it rests on, with no account and no card. To sit a whole paper you need a free account, and your first full mock is free: the real clock, instant scoring, AI writing marking and the pass-probability report. Every account gets one. After that, timed mocks come with Monthly or Lifetime.

Are these real past papers?

No, and deliberately so. Official past papers are CTI copyright, and HSK 3.0 has no past papers at all. Every paper here is written against the published 3.0 syllabus, and each level page states exactly what it was built from.

How is this different from the free HSK mock test sites?

Free sites are paid for by ads, and most of them still serve HSK 2.0 papers — which is why their level numbers no longer match what CTI published for 2026. HSKWin has no ads and is built on the 3.0 syllabus: nine levels, the current question types, instant scoring with an explanation on every question, AI writing marking and the full word lists. Every paper is free to read in full, answers and explanations included, so you can compare the two before paying anything.

Which HSK level should I take?

Most people sit HSK 3 or 4 first: 3 is the level that starts reading and writing at length, and 4 is the one universities and employers usually name. If you are not sure, the free level test places you in about three minutes, and the levels page sets out what each level is expected to do.

HSK levels explained

How accurate is the AI writing mark?

It scores the three dimensions the exam's raters use — content, language, structure — and shows you the sentence behind every deduction, so you can check its reasoning rather than trust a number. If you disagree with a mark you can flag it.

What does the pass probability mean?

It is an estimate from your results, weighted by section, against the pass line for your level. It is not a promise. It is the number that tells you whether to keep practising or book the exam.

What if I pay and it is not what I expected?

Ask within 7 days and we refund it. No form and no conditions — an email is enough. If you tell us what was missing we will read it, but that is not something you have to do to get your money back.
